Kaspersky have very recently released KIS 2011 but because of something in KIS 10 you were not told of the new version.

I had over 300+ days to go with KIS 10 and the technicians told me it was OK here is the link to KIS11 and i still have all the 300+days left on my contract sand I was then guided through until it was finished

There is a few little hiccups with Windows Outlook 10 also very recently released.
I contact K and was told they would E/m with the fix as soon as it was ready. I have a temp fix at the moment

Now that is what I call service and it was all FREE local call only 45min drive away not a OFF SHORE ???? who in some cases just dont know or dont care about your problem.

Indeed Keith, thanks for the update. If you get any more news on problems with the suite or even added benefits, we would like to hear them :)

KIS 11 was only released early this week and Outlook 2010 is also very new.

Its not like another security suite we can name, they now know the problem and has been moved to top priority and will be fixed and I will be personalled E/m with the fix.

This was in my E/m today Tue 3rd Aug

Hello,

There has recently been an update of Kaspersky that has solved the issue of a blank window that appears when you open Outlook 2010 with the anti-spam utility enabled. The automatic updates of Kaspersky have now solved this issue.

If the anti-spam utility is disabled please open Kaspersky and click on Settings>Anti-Spam and tick the "enable anti-spam" tickbox. Click Ok.

When you open Outlook 2010 again, you should see the anti-spam window. Please configure your anti-spam settings for Outlook here.

Regards,
Kaspersky ANZ Consumer Support

Now that is service.

Nice to see someone got excellent service. When I tried to install this latest version, I was informed to exit ClamAV before the intall procedure could continue. I searched the drive, even the registry, and could not find the program/file.

When I sought help at their forum, I was asked to d/l and run a program, then upload the findings. Well, their program is very specific, in that it collects way too much information about ones computer. Not something I'll willing to share on a forum. A real sad point, it did not find any trace of this mystery ClamAV either. Guess I'll wait for the release in my area, Mindblower!

Mindblower

I find there Forum here a bit slow.
I know this might sound a bit silly but if you have a bought product not a cheaper product that did not come with free service just give them a ring.

Your service area a will be listed on their site.
All I can say is that the service in Aust is fantastic.

Took some searching, but I managed to find the toll free number in my area. I,ve been asked to wait till the 16th, as that's when it should be available in Canada. Was even asked to call if I have and installation problems. Thanks for the assist, Mindblower!
